Human Female, Blunt Force Trauma FM-540-SET The perimortem fractures clearly show the damage caused by intense blunt force trauma. This is especially true of the clean breaks in the innominate, one of the strongest bones of the body. Also, the fracture of the femur includes the fragment broken from the posterior shaft, a clear indication that the fracturing force came from the front. These postcranial bones are from a Native American female who died when hit by an 18-wheel truck. This information was documented at the time of the individual's death. Includes FM-540 and FM-541. All of the individual bones are also available. Please see the Related Products below. For an analysis report (PDF format), a copy of which will be sent with the purchase of this specimen, go to FM-540-Report. Should you have questions or comments regarding the report, please contact us at reports@boneclones.com. Please note that specimens from the Maxwell Collection can only be sold to recognized educational institutions and professionals associated with educational institutions. |
