The Bone Clones® Economy Series - Our goal with this series is to produce affordable quality replicas for zoos, museum discovery centers, schools, artists, etc., so that a new generation of nature enthusiasts can learn about animals. All Bone Clones® Economy Series skulls are made from the same molds, following the same procedures as our regular Bone Clones® replicas except we do not tool or finish these skulls to the same detail. We still select only the finest specimens to cast, and carefully prepare each mold to capture the original's structure and texture. We presently offer some common North American animals and select human skulls in this series. |

Responding to customer requests, Bone Clones manufactures economy versions of a few selected items. Comp 101, Comp 102 and Comp 103 are sets of 4 pieces each; skull, femur, humerus and pelvis for Human male, female and child. These sets are useful in noting the differences and similarities of human anatomy and helping to identify the age, sex and ethnic origins of recovered bones in Forensic investigations. Comp 109 is a set of 4 pieces of a female African-American which includes the skull, pelvis, humerus and tibia. |

Bone Clones, Inc produces a large selection of Modern Human replicas appropriate for comparative study, and we constantly add to our collection. We also carry full skeletons, both articulated and disarticulated, including an exceptionally tall specimen. Our selection includes examples of male, female, child (3 ages), Asian, African, European, Aboriginal, Trephined, Calvaria cut, with or without an anatomically correct brain (cast from an original) and stand, a nicely detailed endocast and Cro-magnon skulls. Additionally, we carry all post-cranial skeletal parts. Our original human bones were selected for their quality condition, and our Bone Clones® casts replicate the fine detail found in the original. |

Bone Clones, Inc. commissioned a team of anatomical sculptors to re-create fossil hominids. Each hominid was carefully researched and re-created based on casts made from the original fossils, the latest literature and full color, life-size photographs. All hominids are produced with a specially formulated, high grade, polyurethane resin, that simulates the subtle delicacy of natural bone, yet is extremely durable and resists breakage and chipping. Every effort was made to re-create anatomical details of color, size, shape, reconstructed areas, and bone/fossil texture. |

Our aim is to provide the best possible facsimile models of the most important hominid finds for the general public, educators and students, using the best reference material available. Each hominid was carefully researched and re-created based on some or all of the following: casts of original fossils, the latest literature (descriptions and/or published measurements), input from the scientific community and full color, life-size photographs. Every effort has been made to accurately re-create anatomical details of color, size, shape, reconstructed areas, and bone/fossil texture. The hominids offered in this series are high quality, artistic recreations that can be advantageously used by educators as important visual aids in the classroom and appreciated by the general public. They are not intended for advanced graduate work or measured for research purposes. |

Great Apes - Gorilla, Chimpanzee, Orangutan and Gibbon. We are proud to produce all great ape skulls and skeletons, many through the cooperation of the Philadelphia Zoo. Of particular interest for comparative anatomy, are post cranial parts, including sets of pelvis assemblies, femurs, skeletal and life cast hands and feet (and male and female Gorilla face life casts and skulls), as well as several muscle casts. We produce an extraordinarily wide selection of bird specimens, including skulls, skeletons (mounted or disarticulated), talons (claws) and eggs. Bone Clones® currently produces over 40 egg replicas of birds as varied as the now extinct Giant Elephant Bird, and the minuscule Hummingbird. (The size differential between the largest and smallest bird eggs is quite substantial). Our selection of talons for comparative study is also quite extensive and includes claws from many birds of prey. Also available are the eggs of these birds of prey, and of many common North American birds. The skeletons of a Harpy Eagle and a Kiwi make for impressive display. Egg and skeleton stands available. Bone Clones® bird skulls are skillfully cast and the colors and patinas of the beaks painstakingly replicated. Please note that our Bone Clones® bird skulls are cast with the jaw separate. However, in many cases we glue the jaw to the skull since the jaws are small and tend to get lost in time. |

As with all Bone Clones® products, only the finest casting materials are used to cast our North American Bird Egg Series. Our expert artists paint each with meticulous care to match the eggs that were used in the casting process. Each egg is hand painted with permanent dyes and sealed with a resistant coating that makes it ideal for handling, study, teaching, as well as for display. In nature, eggs vary from region to region as well as from bird to bird. The colors and patterns used were determined by the egg used as well as reference material to find a happy medium that would be representative of the species. |
