Homo neanderthalensis Skull - Sawyer/ Maley Reconstruction, BH-030 50,000 YA. Homo neanderthalensis Skull available exclusively from Bone Clones®, this Neanderthal Skull Reconstruction was reconstructed by Anthropologist Gary J. Sawyer, of the American Museum of Natural History and Blaine C. Maley, Anthropology Department, Washington University and was featured in the AMNH January, 2003 exhibit "THE FIRST EUROPEANS: TREASURES FROM THE HILLS OF Atapuerca." The reconstruction of the skull and jaw are primarily from La Ferrassie with additional transplanted elements from La Chapelle-aux-Saints, Saccopastore 1, Shanidar 5 and Spy 1.
