Articulated Modern Human 5-year-old Child Skeleton SC-183-A The value of a high-quality cast of juvenile skeleton for laboratory teaching purposes is inestimable given that such skeletons are rarely included in research collections. Our 5-year-old skeleton (SC-183-A or SC-183-D) is produced from the skeleton of an average 5-year-old. Age is confirmed by the pattern of tooth eruption and the developmental age of individual bones. The reproduction of this skeleton includes all of the primary and secondary centers of ossification which demonstrate sufficient morphological detail to be isolated, recognized, and identified out of anatomical context. We can substitute a skull with the calvarium cut BC-188 for $50. Please add this to the comments section during the order process, or call our toll free number, 800-914-0091, to order. All individual postcranial bones are also available. We are grateful to the San Diego Museum of Man for granting us permission to cast this unique specimen. See Below. For an analysis report (PDF format), a copy of which will be sent with the purchase of either specimen, go to SC-183-A-report and SC-183-D-report. Should you have questions or comments regarding the report, please contact us at reports@boneclones.com. Disarticulated Human 5-year-old child Skeleton SC-183-D |

Disarticulated 5-year-old Child Half Skeleton SC-183-DH Half of our 5-year-old Child Skeleton, SC-183-A. Partially assembled as shown. The bones from this skeleton may be used for understanding bone formation and growth, noting differences in the child and adult skeletons (e.g., diaphyses), and recognizing juvenile bones for forensic purposes (as well as differentiating them from non-human animals of similar size). See our SC-116-A Archaic Child Skeleton for comparison. Disarticulated Half skeleton Larger Image. Please Use Your Back Button To Return To This Page.
