Orangutan Pelvis Assembly KO-202-P Pelvis from our Orangutan skeleton, SC-002-A. Of the great apes, the Orangutan is the most flexible, with wrist, hip and shoulder joints allowing the greatest range of movement. Its legs are 30 percent shorter than its arms, which can span 7 1/2 feet. The only truly arboreal ape, it moves by swinging trees until they are close enough to each other to grab with its hands or hand-like feet. For comparative study, Bone Clones, Inc. produces an exceptional selection of Bone Clones® pelvis assemblies from all of the skeletons we produce. Additional primate skeletal parts are available. Please check out the rest of our Primate Postcranial category, as well as our Related Products, below. If you do not see what you need, please inquire. As always, we strive for exceptional quality in our products. Our exacting casts capture the subtle textures and details of the original bone, and we use the finest resins for our Bone Clones® replicas. |
