Tarbosaurus bataar Fossil Claw KO-073 From the Nemegt Formation of the Gobi Desert in Mongolia, this claw is from the Mongolian equivalent of the T-rex. Found in 2002 the rare Tarbosaurus was probably a young adult about 30 feet long. About 70 million years old, some say it is so closely related that it should be placed in the same genus as T-rex (Tyrannosaurus). |
