Siberian Tiger Claw KO-071 The Siberian Tiger is the larger of only two tiger species believed to be left in the wild, and the largest member of the cat family. This nocturnal hunter can be found in the cold forests of Manchuria and Siberia. Hunted to near extinction by man for both sport and for their beautiful striped fur, these cats are themselves elegant hunters, stalking their prey with a silent, stealthy crawl, until within striking distance. The Tiger's claws are retractable, curved, sharp and long, and used to grab hold of prey, mark territory by scratching on trees, for defense and, occasionally, to climb trees. Tigers have five claws, including a vestigial dew claw, on their forefeet, and four claws on their hindfeet. Each Bone ClonesŪ replica claw and talon, produced to our exacting standards, captures the textural detail and matches the subtle coloration of the originals. Please check out the rest of our Claws and Talons category. |
