Australopithecus afarensis Sacrum "Lucy" KO-036-S Sacrum from the Australopithecus afarensis A.L. 288-1 skeleton known as Lucy. Discovered by Donald Johanson in 1974 in Ethiopia Lucy, at 3.2 million years, has been considered the first human ancestor .
