5-year-old Human Child Skull BC-190 All evidence points toward an age of 5 to 6 years. All the deciduous (baby teeth) are present in the upper and lower jaws. The anterior, posterior, sphenoidal and mastoidal fontanelles are all closed. The spheno-occipital synchondrosis and the calvarial sutures are all open. A custom metal display stand is available. The cortical bone overlying the buccal aspect of the left maxilla and left mandible has been dissected away.
