Bobcat Skull BC-146E The bobcat is heavily populated in the southeastern United States. Their range extends from southern Canada throughout the US to southern Mexico. Although smaller than cougars, they are successful hunters of small animals and reptiles, including domesticated mammals and birds. Bobcats are basically nocturnal and solitary, as are most in the cat family. Even though they are protected in most of their range, some states do allow hunting in very dense populations. Some estimates place their population just over one million. The Bone Clones® Economy Series - Our goal with this series is to produce affordable quality replicas for zoos, museum discovery centers, schools, artists, etc., so that a new generation of enthusiasts can learn about nature. All Bone ClonesŪ Economy Series skulls are made from the same molds, following the same procedures as our regular Bone ClonesŪ replicas except we do not tool or finish these skulls to the same detail. We still select only the finest specimens to cast, and carefully prepare each mold to capture the original's structure and texture. We presently offer some common North American animals and select human sets in this series. View The Economy Series Catalog, Click Here. |
