Gray Fox BC-144E The Gray Fox is nicknamed "The Tree Fox" due to its ability to climb trees and leap from branch to branch with catlike agility. It can be found from Northern Ontario, Canada to Central and Southwestern U.S. to Venezuela. The coat is made up of individual hairs banded with black, gray and white, which is responsible for the animal's mottled gray coloration. It also has a small mane and a dark stripe down its back. Its skull is unique compared to other North American canids, due to its wide U-shaped temporal ridges. The Gray Fox is protected in the state of Florida and cannot be trapped or destroyed without a permit. The Bone Clones® Economy Series - Our goal with this series is to produce affordable quality replicas for zoos, museum discovery centers, schools, artists, etc., so that a new generation of enthusiasts can learn about nature. All Bone ClonesŪ Economy Series skulls are made from the same molds, following the same procedures as our regular Bone ClonesŪ replicas except we do not tool or finish these skulls to the same detail. We still select only the finest specimens to cast, and carefully prepare each mold to capture the original's structure and texture. We presently offer some common North American animals and select human sets in this series. View The Economy Series Catalog, Click Here. |
