More About The Bone Clones® Economy Series The shaggy coat of the American Black Bear actually may be colored from blond to dark brown in various regions of the continent. Usually feeding on berries, nuts and plants, they will also consume small rodents and carrion when available. Generally regarded as not threatening to humans, they may become aggressive to protect themselves or their young. In cold regions, they will hibernate throughout the winter months. Every two to three years, a female will give birth during the winter hibernation period. Learning how to find food and shelter, the cubs remain with her through the next winter. | ||
