Cro-Magnon Skull and Jaw BC-093-C 10,000-30,000 YA. This Cro-Magnon Skull was discovered in 1998 in the Rhine River deposits in Southwest Germany near Mainz (the jaw was also found in this region). Since the skull was dredged from a gravel pit, the stratum can only be assumed. However, the association with Mammuthus, Megaceros and Equus, as well as the state of mineralization, suggests an age of at least 10,000 to 30,000 years. Our reproduction is cast from the original skull. Missing elements of the jaw were sculpted and are clearly indicated. Custom Display Stand available below. Cro-Magnon Skull (Without Jaw) BC-093 |
