Human Male Asian Skull with Calvarium Cut BC-092 This skull features a removable calvarium. Some notable features are the well defined "crisp" metopic suture and spring hinged jaw. Some features which suggest that the specimen is of Asian heritage are the shovel-shaped maxillary incisors, a somewhat rounded-shaped of the maxillary dental arcade, a nearly edge-on-edge incisal bite, and broad zygomatic bones. The removal of the calvarium allows students to examine the internal osteological structure of the skull. This large skull is a wonderful reference skull, illustrating the major oteological structures with our accurate 1 to 1 molding of the original specimen. We have taken care to capture detail on both the inside and outside of this skull. The stand shown with the skull, S-BC-092, is available below for an additional charge. We also produce an endocast, KO-092-E, and brain, KO-092, of this skull. For even more detailed versions of Calvarium Cut Skulls, see BC-150 (Female), BC-212 (Male) and the set BC-150-212. For an analysis report (PDF format), a copy of which will be sent with the purchase of this specimen, go to BC-092-Report.
