Golden Eagle Skull BC-073 North America's largest bird of prey with a wingspan of over 7 feet. Often hunting in pairs, each bird can carry 8 pounds in flight. Sometimes eating carrion, their diet more often consists of rodents as well as reptiles and birds. They have been seen capturing large birds such as geese.
