Human Male Australian Aboriginal Skull BC-031 The Human Male Australian Aboriginal skull is an excellent example of a male skull. This specimen would serve as an interesting discussion piece around the concept of race assessment and the limitations of categorization (oversimplification) into 3 categories-European, African, and Asian. The totality of features here is most in keeping with those of mixed traits (African and Asian). This specimen might also serve as a useful discussion piece on the topic of dental conditions, given the degree of attrition and periodontal disease present. This skull was found in 1905 near the lower Darling River in New South Wales, Australia, and was known to be from a very stout 50-year-old male of the Bindaboo Tribe. Also available painted to match the original specimen. A custom metal display stand, S-BC-031, is also available below. Human Male Australian Aboriginal Skull Painted BC-031P |
